Niamh’s journey with Ascensos began at just 15, when she joined the Motherwell site for a week-long work experience placement. Inspired by the vibrant atmosphere and supportive team, she applied for a summer role the moment she turned 16—and what started as a temporary job soon became a full-time career.
Her dedication and drive quickly set her apart, leading her to manage VIP customers before stepping into Real-Time Planning.
In 2023, she achieved her goal of joining the Resource Planning team. “Hard work never goes unnoticed here; it’s always rewarded,” says Niamh, who continues to thrive and grow at Ascensos.
Starting in Ascensos Trinidad as a Customer Service Advisor in December 2023, Micah had no idea his dream role in IT was just around the corner. With no prior customer service experience, he quickly adapted and excelled. When an IT Support Analyst position opened, Micah seized the opportunity, persistently following up until he landed the role after an interview with our CTO David Gilfillan.
“It was surreal to achieve this position here, especially after enjoying my time as an advisor,” he says. Now thriving in the IT department, Micah credits the supportive team for helping him grow in this exciting new chapter.
Ioana joined Ascensos in 2019 as a Brand Ambassador at our Bucharest site, quickly making her mark as the first point of contact between our client and management. With her passion for accuracy, she transitioned into Quality Assurance within 1.5 years, and in 2022, her team won ‘Best Partnership’ at the European Customer Service Awards.
Now leading a global team of Quality Managers, Ioana continues to set the benchmark for excellence. She encourages others to pursue a career in Quality, emphasizing that “excellence should be the benchmark.”

Chantal has been in the contact centre industry for over 15 years, with 11 years specializing in recruitment. She started at Ascensos Cape Town as a Customer Service Agent and quickly rose through the ranks to become Talent Acquisition Manager.
Chantal’s passion for helping people grow in their careers aligns with Ascensos’ values. “Don’t be afraid to ask questions or try new things. That’s where growth happens,” she says. Chantal feels empowered by Ascensos’ commitment to employee development and is inspired by the supportive and driven colleagues she works with every day.
Brogan’s Ascensos journey began in 2017 as one of the first Advisors on the Isle of Wight. His career took off quickly, with promotions to Team Captain and Team Manager in just two years. Brogan has managed customer experiences across diverse campaigns, including the UK’s largest video games retailer and Aldi.
His leadership and versatility earned him recognition, including a silver win at the UK National Contact Centre Awards. Today, Brogan leads the Wickes campaign, bringing his expertise to their multichannel, kitchen, and bathroom teams. His advice to others: “Always be available to help the wider team with anything you can.”
Abigail’s journey at Ascensos Trinidad began as a Customer Service Advisor, where she consistently exceeded quality and performance targets, earning awards like ‘Customer Excellence' and 'Quality Star’ at our monthly Allstar recognition awards. Despite initial challenges with Average Handle Time (AHT), she improved with the support of her team.
After five months, Abigail successfully transitioned into the role of Operational Support Analyst, where she now supports internal teams with the same passion she brought to customer service. “Be yourself; everyone else is already taken,” she says, reflecting her positive approach to learning and growth at Ascensos.
Oana joined Ascensos Romania in 2019 as a Resource Planner and quickly rose through the ranks, becoming Operations Manager in 2020 and Senior Operations Manager by the end of 2021. She now oversees a team of 200+ multilingual agents across Romania and Turkey providing exceptional customer service in languages such as; Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German and Swedish.
Oana's leadership and organizational skills have been key to her team’s success. “At Ascensos, I’ve had the opportunity to grow, lead, and make a difference every day - something I’m incredibly proud of” she says.
Reinille joined Ascensos in September 2023 as a Team Manager and was promoted to Operations Manager in February 2024. With extensive experience in telecommunications, travel, tourism, and retail, Reinille brings a wealth of knowledge to his role.
He credits Ascensos’ people-first culture and the support he received for his rapid growth within the company. “Working at Ascensos has been an amazing journey, and now I provide the same guidance to my team that helped me succeed,” he says. Reinille is proud to be part of #theAteam and excited for the future.
Daniel joined Ascensos in October 2015 on a temporary contract for the JD Sports campaign, planning to move on after Christmas. Instead, his talent and adaptability paved the way for a thriving career.
After securing an Admin Assistant role in 2016, he quickly progressed, taking on key responsibilities across retail brands. By 2019, Daniel was instrumental in launching the KFC campaign as a Brand Ambassador, strengthening client relationships.
His leadership continued to grow, and by 2024, he had taken full operational leadership of the DFS campaign. “The opportunities for progression and the engaging work environment have kept me here,” he says.
Courtney joined Ascensos in June 2023 as a Customer Service Advisor, and from the very first day, she knew she had found something special. Recognizing the opportunities for growth and development, she quickly embraced her next challenge and transitioned into her current role within the Recruitment and Admin Support team.
Now, Courtney plays a key role in welcoming new talent to Ascensos, ensuring they feel supported from day one. “You’re not just joining a workplace – you’re becoming part of a family that’s here to help you succeed,” she says.
Her passion for people and community shines through as she helps others start their own journey at Ascensos.
Loredana’s journey at Ascensos began as a Customer Service Advisor, where she brought seven years of operational experience. With a degree in Foreign Languages and Human Resource Management, she naturally transitioned into evaluating language proficiency for multilingual job applicants.
Today, as an HR Specialist, Loredana is responsible for identifying the best talent to grow the team in Bucharest. "Working at Ascensos is like a second family," she says. "It’s a fantastic environment where you always feel welcomed and appreciated. I love my role, and I look forward to welcoming new colleagues to the team!"
Jihaan’s career at Ascensos began with a strong foundation of self-development and opportunity. Joining as an advisor at our Cape Town operation, she quickly seized the chance to participate in programs like the Colleague Relations Forum and Train the Trainer, which propelled her to a Resource Planner role in just seven months.
Today, Jihaan supports multiple campaigns, optimizing workflows to ensure advisors are efficient and well-supported. Her drive for continuous improvement was recently recognized when she won the Calabrio Contact Centre Spotlight: Unsung Hero Award, a testament to her dedication to both her colleagues and the success of the business. Jihaan’s gratitude is clear: “This is my way of saying ‘Thank You’ to Ascensos for being the best place to start my career.”
Nikki joined Ascensos UK in 2022, bringing over 15 years of HR experience and a passion for employee wellbeing. From the start, she embraced opportunities to make a difference, creating initiatives like the "Pause to Talk" group, offering a safe space for colleagues to discuss menopause.
Nikki also developed the company’s first Menopause Policy, ensuring employees feel supported at every stage of their careers. “It’s important that we create an environment where everyone feels heard and supported,” Nikki says. Her dedication to fostering a culture of openness and inclusivity has had a lasting, positive impact on Ascensos.
Daron joined Ascensos Trinidad in June 2023 as a Customer Service Advisor on the SharkNinja campaign, after spending seven years at his previous job. Stepping into a new company felt intimidating, but Ascensos’ warm and welcoming environment quickly reassured him that he had made the right choice.
By November, he was promoted to Real-Time Analyst, and in January 2024, he advanced to Team Manager. Daron is passionate about maintaining the caring culture he’s experienced: “We show care to everyone who enters the business, no matter their role. Our culture is built on community, mindfulness, and promoting wellness.”
With 16 years of operational experience, Elena’s leadership journey at Ascensos has been nothing short of dynamic. Fast-tracked through the Management Advance programme, she has progressed from Team Manager to Senior Operations Manager, and now leads as Director of Operations in Romania.
At the heart of Bucharest’s multilingual hub, Elena thrives on the variety her role brings. “One day I’m delivering a business review in French, the next I’m discussing technical solutions in English,” she says.
Passionate about building strong client relationships, Elena values the supportive and vibrant culture at Ascensos. “We work hard, but we have lots of fun too.”
Mark’s passion for customer service and operations management shone through from the moment he joined Ascensos Cape Town, in August 2022. After honing his skills across campaigns like Aldi and Iceland, he secured a seconded role as a Real-Time Analyst for John Lewis.
However, in December 2023, Mark's determination was rewarded when he was offered his dream role as Team Manager. With eight years of customer service experience, Mark now leads with enthusiasm and inspires his team to exceed expectations. “I am the product of growth, opportunities, and possibilities,” says Mark. “If I can, then you can be next!”
