Daniel's Story – From Temporary Role to Operations Leader
Daniel's journey with Ascensos started in October 2015 with a temporary role on our JD Sports campaign. His goal at the time was simple: make some money before Christmas and then find another job. Little did he know, this temporary role would mark the beginning of a long and fulfilling career.
After completing his 3-month contract, Daniel successfully interviewed for an Admin Assistant position, starting in early 2016 on a portfolio of popular retail brands. His adaptability and talent soon caught the eye of senior management, and in 2019, Daniel was tasked with helping to launch the KFC campaign as a Brand Ambassador. In this highly client-facing role, he served as the crucial link between Ascensos and KFC, representing the company at KFC’s head office meetings and boosting engagement within the team.
In August 2021, Daniel took on a new challenge, moving to the DFS campaign during a period of transformation. As Brand Ambassador, he concentrated on strengthening the client relationship and fostering a close partnership with our client. When Ascensos expanded its team in South Africa, Daniel played an integral role in scoping and implementing the new team, gaining valuable experience that would later help him transition into an Operations Coordinator role.
By September 2024, Daniel had successfully taken on sole operational leadership of the DFS campaign, leading to his well-deserved promotion to Operations Manager. "I never thought I’d be here for as long as I have," Daniel admits, "but the opportunities for progression, the people and the fun, engaging work environment have kept me here. There’s always something to look forward to, with fun days and campaign competitions keeping the office atmosphere exciting and rewarding."

Stephanie's Story – Climbing the Ladder in Luxury Retail
Stephanie joined Ascensos in 2016, starting as an inbound advisor on a nationwide DIY retailer campaign. Little did she know, this role would be the first step in a career filled with growth and opportunities. Over the years, Stephanie’s hard work and dedication have seen her progress through a variety of roles, including Team Manager and Senior Manager, and now, she leads as the Operations Manager for a luxury retail brand.
Her journey has been marked by significant milestones, including winning the prestigious 'Client Champion' award at our Annual Archie Star Awards. Stephanie was promoted to Team Manager during the challenging COVID-19 pandemic, a time that tested her resilience and leadership.
Undeterred, she continued to rise, taking on the role of Senior Team Manager before being asked to support the launch of our Selfridges campaign. Her exceptional work ethic and results-driven mindset led to another promotion to Operations Coordinator, and in 2024, Stephanie was elevated once more to Operations Manager.
Reflecting on her journey, Stephanie says, "Ascensos has given me so many growth opportunities - every challenge has pushed me forward. I love working on the Selfridges campaign, it’s a perfect fit for me, and it’s been incredibly rewarding to lead a team for such a prestigious brand."

Darren's Story – Dedication and Growth in 22 Years of Experience
Darren joined Ascensos in March 2019 as a Customer Service Advisor on our Aldi campaign. Within just six months, his leadership potential was recognised, and he was promoted to Team Manager, taking over the Aldi social media team. His dedication and knack for team building quickly set him apart, and by October 2020, he had been promoted to Senior Team Manager.
In August 2022, Darren took on the challenge of leading the social media team for River Island, showcasing his adaptability and passion for delivering exceptional service. His most recent role sees him leading our Pizza Hut campaign, where his years of experience have proven invaluable.
Having worked in contact centres for over 22 years, Darren firmly believes that Ascensos is the best company he’s worked for. "The growth opportunities here are incredible. Ascensos’ commitment to promoting from within is unlike anything I’ve seen, and the support from my fellow managers is second to none. There’s always someone willing to lend their expertise."

Courtney's Story – Mentoring Across Borders and Building Success
Courtney's Ascensos journey began in November 2015 when she joined as an Advisor on our campaign for a leading UK retailer. Then after a short stint on the Monsoon campaign, she transitioned to our Aldi campaign, where her potential was quickly noticed. She was promoted to an admin role, managing customer queries and job applications for Aldi, and later took on responsibility for recruitment.
Courtney’s proactive approach and talent for leadership soon earned her a promotion to Team Manager for Aldi, a position she held for two years. In 2022, she supported the launch of our River Island campaign, a project she found incredibly rewarding as she worked closely with new recruits, ensuring they were supported and cared for as they settled into their new roles.
By September 2023, Courtney was given a unique opportunity to relocate to South Africa for three months to help guide and mentor new Team Managers on our John Lewis & Partners campaign. "It was the best experience of my life," Courtney recalls. "Ascensos gave me the opportunity to not only grow in my role but to make memories I’ll cherish forever."
Upon her return in December, Courtney continued working on the River Island campaign, where she now helps foster a supportive, fun, and highly engaged team culture. "We have a fantastic bond, and the incentives and monthly awards keep everyone motivated and excited to come to work," she says.
