Niamh’s journey with Ascensos began at just 15, when she joined the Motherwell site for a week-long work experience placement. Inspired by the vibrant atmosphere and supportive team, she applied for a summer role the moment she turned 16—and what started as a temporary job soon became a full-time career.
Her dedication and drive quickly set her apart, leading her to manage VIP customers before stepping into Real-Time Planning.
In 2023, she achieved her goal of joining the Resource Planning team. “Hard work never goes unnoticed here; it’s always rewarded,” says Niamh, who continues to thrive and grow at Ascensos.
Stephanie’s Ascensos journey began in 2016, starting as an inbound agent for a nationwide DIY retailer.
Since then, she has progressed through various roles, including Team Manager and Senior Team Manager, and is now the Operations Manager for a luxury retail brand. "Ascensos has given me so many opportunities for growth - every challenge has pushed me forward," she says.

Daniel joined Ascensos in October 2015 on a temporary contract for the JD Sports campaign, planning to move on after Christmas. Instead, his talent and adaptability paved the way for a thriving career.
After securing an Admin Assistant role in 2016, he quickly progressed, taking on key responsibilities across retail brands. By 2019, Daniel was instrumental in launching the KFC campaign as a Brand Ambassador, strengthening client relationships.
His leadership continued to grow, and by 2024, he had taken full operational leadership of the DFS campaign. “The opportunities for progression and the engaging work environment have kept me here,” he says.
Nikki joined Ascensos UK in 2022, bringing over 15 years of HR experience and a passion for employee wellbeing. From the start, she embraced opportunities to make a difference, creating initiatives like the "Pause to Talk" group, offering a safe space for colleagues to discuss menopause.
Nikki also developed the company’s first Menopause Policy, ensuring employees feel supported at every stage of their careers. “It’s important that we create an environment where everyone feels heard and supported,” Nikki says. Her dedication to fostering a culture of openness and inclusivity has had a lasting, positive impact on Ascensos.
Gary joined Ascensos in 2019, initially expecting to stay only a few months. However, he quickly realised the company offered more than just a job - it provided a path for growth. Progressing from Customer Service Advisor to SME and Team Manager, he found his true calling in Learning and Development.
Encouraged by his manager, Gary transitioned into training, where he now helps others grow and succeed. “There’s no better feeling than seeing people go from nervous new starts to confident professionals,” he says.
As our UK Training Manager, Gary continues to nurture talent, proving that unexpected opportunities lead to fulfilling careers.
Courtney joined Ascensos in 2015 as a Customer Service Advisor, quickly proving her talent across multiple campaigns. After stepping into an admin role supporting Aldi, she progressed into recruitment before earning a promotion to Team Manager.
In 2022, Courtney helped launch the River Island campaign, ensuring new recruits felt supported from day one.
A year later, she embraced an incredible opportunity to mentor Team Managers in South Africa. “It was the best experience of my life,” she says. Now back in the UK, Courtney continues to foster a fun and engaging team culture, showing just how far passion and dedication can take you at Ascensos.
Nicola joined Ascensos in 2021 as an Advisor and was quickly promoted into an Operational Management role within weeks. As one of the first 'Local' colleagues in Stranraer, Nicola splits her time between working from home and supporting new trainees at the local Training Hub.
Her background in sales has honed her excellent people skills, allowing her to thrive in the busy contact centre environment. Now a Team Manager on our DFS campaign, Nicola embraces Ascensos’ supportive culture. "Don't limit yourself! The world is your oyster here," she says, reflecting her belief in the company’s growth opportunities.
Darren joined Ascensos in March 2019 as a Customer Service Advisor on the Aldi campaign, and within just six months, his leadership skills earned him a promotion to Team Manager. By 2020, he had stepped up as Senior Team Manager, leading social media teams with a strong focus on engagement and performance.
His adaptability saw him transition to the River Island campaign before taking on his current role leading Pizza Hut. With 22 years of contact centre experience, Darren says, “The growth opportunities here are incredible. The support and commitment to promoting from within make Ascensos stand out.”
Kerry joined Ascensos in 2016 as a Customer Service Advisor, progressing to Team Manager before finding her passion in recruitment in 2021. Now, as a Talent Acquisition Partner, she helps candidates find the perfect fit within Ascensos’ retail campaigns.
With firsthand experience of career growth within the company, Kerry knows exactly what it takes to succeed. “We want to see your personality because we believe happy people keep people happy,” she says.
